Luckie Daniels — Program Director
Luckie Daniels is an experienced Senior Program Manager with expertise providing project leadership on STEAM, eCommerce, Mobility, Marketing, and Social Media initiatives.
Luckie’s maintained a successful track record launching innovative technology campaigns for many industry leaders including The Coca-Cola Company, United Parcel Service, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Walt Disney, ADT Security, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Pearson Education and UL Safety.
Prior to pursuing a career in IT, Luckie worked in the nonprofit sector as a Child Advocate and Freedom School Program Coordinator for the Children’s Defense Fund, Community Strategist for Mayor Roxanne Qualls in Cincinnati, Ohio and Domestic Violence Advocate for the City of Atlanta.
STEAM advocacy and skills development are important community efforts Luckie continues to be involved with.
Prior to developing #FUELSTEAM with her son Justis, Luckie was Founder and Program Director of Taos STEAM Academy, a teen fueled, innovation incubator providing best-in-class, STEAM skills enrichment and rigorous code development opportunities for Taos County youth in New Mexico.

Graduating in the top 10% of his high school class in June 2018, Justis is not-so patiently awaiting the college admission decision that will determine where he begins a new chapter in his academic career this fall. Class of 2022!
Gina Marr — Cohort Liaison, Howard University
In her role as Disabilities and Technology Manager for Student Services at Howard University, Gina provides administrative and logistical support for 2,600+ students with registered disabilities.
Gina manages the Disability Testing Center and is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing departmental database, video monitoring and other educational support applications.
As our Howard University Cohort Liaison, Gina will work with #FUELSTEAM to identify, on-board, train and nurture students joining our program as Makers.

Representation does matter. And when the mission is youth and STEAM engagement, representation is ESSENTIAL! Our #FUELSTEAM Makers are junior and senior Science, Math, Chemistry, Engineering and Computer Science majors enrolled at historic Howard University.
Each Maker brings her/his knowledge, advanced tech skills and real-world understanding of what it is to be a young person of color pursuing STEAM dreams.
